The Process

PRR transforms cellulosic biomass waste into sugars and lignin; products are widely marketable and valued across many industries. Specifically, PRR provides operations and management expertise necessary to ensure the successful operation of each facility including site design, construction management, supplier, buyer, contract management, and arrangement of funding for each site.

The unique process is a high efficiency design, which significantly reduces processing time and cost while increasing output. This is a protected process that profitability converts agricultural, commercial and domestic cellulosic biomass material into industrial sugars (C-5 & C-6) and sulfur free lignin. This conversion process uses a low energy, modular, scalable and containerized system for the purpose of developing sulphur free lignin and sugar solutions that manufactures will use in a variety of bio-products.

PRR PLANTS:
Each facility will be developed to house the CTSTM Conversion Process based on the licensed, patented and trade secret technology developed by the inventor. The facilities will initially be operated as joint ventures, with a few in the second five years operated as a wholly owned subsidiary PRR. The income generated can be provided in the business plan and five year cash flow.

INVENTORS:
The Inventing scientist at EK Laboratories will provide equipment, operational, and chemical product development expertise. These scientists are the holders of and expertise behind the patent, process, and intellectual property. The development agreement between PRR and Alliance provides that they will be an active part of the development to make sure that all equipment performs to specifications. Further, they will be responsible for validating the process properly separates cellulosic biomass material per specifications to produce the C-5, C-6, and lignin PRR will be manufacturing for the market.

PRODUCTS PRODUCED:
The primary outputs of the process are sulphur free lignin and sugars that are key raw materials in the manufacture of the following bio-based products:

  •  PEF Plastic Bottles, Bio Plastics, Bio-friendly shopping Bags, Automotive Panels,
  • Sweeteners such as Xylitol, Flavorings such as Vanillin, Animal Feeds,
  • Detergents, Resins,
  • Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics
  • Biofuels.

The production batch is composed of 80% cellulosic biomass, of which 70% is C6 sugars and 30% C5 sugars, depending on the feedstock source. The remaining 20% of the batch is lignin in a very pure sulphur free form. The process generates no waste, as any unprocessed cellulosic biomass, water and catalyst used during production are 100% recycled back into the process.
